Letter confirming the application process from home office

Hi All, I have applied for my spouse visa extension on 14th Jan 2020. But my current visa gets expires on 26th Jan 2020. My employer is requesting me to submit a letter or any papers confirming that my application is in process with home office.

As I have applied for my visa through agency. How could i request the letter confirming the visa status from home office..?

You are covered by section 3C and tell your employer to call ukvi on employer helpline if they want to confirm your right of work. Ukvi no longer issues acknowledgement.
