"Lost" my PRC, upcoming trip tomorrow

Hi!

I'm living in the UK on a Tier 2 (General) visa. Got my BRP, registered with police & got my PRC (police registration certificate) within a week. A month ago, I travelled to my home country & returned to the UK with my brother who spent a week in the UK as a tourist & then went back.

I have a flight to Europe tomorrow & it's only now that I realised that he took my PRC with him! I should be returning to the UK on Sunday. Am I required to carry my PRC with me or can I still fly to Europe without it? Are there any other ways to prove residency (BRP, etc) ? Can I bring a copy? Will I face any problems if I say I forgot to take it with me?

Hi, CR001, thank you for your prompt reply! Last time I was re-entering the UK, I was asked to show my PRC after the officer looked at my visa vignette in my passport & an OVRO stamp next to it. What should I do if that happens this time, as well?

Explain the circumstances and that your brother is posting it back to you etc.
