Hi Everyone,
I am a British Citizen and I plan to marry in Morocco.
I have obtained a list of all the documents I require from the Moroccan consulate in London. (http://www.moroccanconsulate.org.uk/en/Marriages.html)
My query is:
Regarding the following 3 documents
- Birth Certificate
- Criminal Records
- Divorce Certificate
Do these documents need to be translated into Arabic "in the UK"? then obtain the legislation stamp (Apostille) from the UK Foreign office Legalization Department for the translated Arabic copies? or is the legalization stamp required on the original English version?
OR
Can the English versions be translated "in Morocco" and obtain a stamp from a government office in Morocco?
Can anyone shed some light ?
There is very little information out there on this subject.
Kindest Regards
Richat
