Re: British Citizenship Checklist (AN form)

Hi, Just submitted application and got an appointment next month. We are in the process of uploading documents and had a few questions: 1. Applicants and Spouse passports - I assume these does not need to be uploaded as they will use the passport scanner at the visa centre? 2. Can the applicants pas...

List is fine excep Council Tax bills not required - as ILR holder wife's passport(s) with stamps in/out are sufficient proof of residence.
Thanks. I wish visa applications were this simple!!

Re: Dual Citizenship?

Thanks, will check dual citizenship laws for my wife's country.

Her passport is expiring in less than 6 months so would like to renew before applying for UK citizenship.

Dual Citizenship?

Hi All,

Do you have to renounce your current nationality when you apply for UK citizenship, or is dual citizenship allowed?

Thank You - ILR granted

Hi,

My wife received her ILR (took 1.5 months for decision) and I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Casa and CR001 for their expert help.

My original thread is locked so can't post on there.

Now time to apply for British Citizenship!!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to CR001 and allyf for the help and advice. We (finally!) submitted yesterday. Our experience of the service centre was not pleasant. Took close to 4hrs to go through the whole process. This was due to too many appointments and not enough staff. To their credit, t...

Re: Passport Photos for new service

My didn't too. I included as just an extra document as evidence of our marriage date/location as there were questions related to it on the form.

You don't have to include if you don't think it is necessary.
