Mistake on SET M application

Hi

I submitted a SET M application, I answered one question incorrectly as it was overlooked.

The question was with regards to any past refusals to which I answered no. However, I was refused a visa a few years ago to the UK. This was an honest mistake as I have previously disclosed the refusal in my FLR M application for an extension a couple of years ago.

I have drafted a letter to explain the error and I have sent an email to the Home Office for advice but a response will be received after the weekend now.

I have not submitted my biometrics yet.

Does anyone have advice on what may happen.

All you need to do is upload the letter with your documents before you biometric appointment no pijnt emailing ukvi, they don't touch your application until biometrics have been done and whoever you emailed, will not be your case worker, its a generic inbox and they won't offer you advice, it is the applicants responsibility to ensure everything is correct

I will upload the documents prior to the appointment including the letter. Hopefully they will have a read of it. I’m just considering if it would be better to submit a fresh application?

No need for a fresh application. You're overthinking it. All documents submitted would be looked at, including your cover letter stating your mistake.
