MN1 APPLICATION

Post by TandT » Thu May 07, 2020 9:13 am

Please can anyone help me with this simple question on my child British Registration?

DID I NEED TO PROVIDE JUST HIS UK BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND THE REST OF PROOF THAT HE WAS BORN IN THE UK BEFORE HIS DAD AQUIRED HIS PERMANENT RESIDENT? OR I NEED A SPECIFIC ID FOR HIM TO PROOF HIS NATIONALTY,HE IS JUST 6 YEARS OLD AND NEVER HAD ANY NON EU PASSPORT PROVIDED HE MET ALL THE REMAINING REQUIREMENTS.

AM ASKING BECAUSE, I DID A PAPER FORM T IN 2018 AND I DID NOT PROVIDE ANY ID THEN FOR MY OTHER CHILD BUT JUST TO BE TO BE CLEAR IF ANYTHING HAS CHANGE RECENTLY.

PLEASE PLEASE ANYONE WITH EITHER WISDON OR EXPERIENCE

Please am I also correct that applying for a British Registration for my child born in 2014 can be done by myself on my son"s behalf under section 1 (3) with his dad PR CARD who"s was issued to him in 2019? or it must be his dad to apply for him because we never married since he was born till now.

Am sorry for asking. The application fee is making my head bouncing and I do not want to make mistake by applying on a wrong category.

Thanks once again in advance enyone please.

Either parent can apply for the child as long as evidence of settled status of either parent is submitted. You will need father's consent and he must be named on the child's original birth certificate.

There is only ONE section you can apply under for UK born children in your circumstances and that is section 1(3).

These questions are answered many times and also in the citizenship FAQs.

Note also that we are all unpaid volunteers on the forum and it is not an on demand service and we are not legal advisors. So try be patient and wait for an answer when someone wishes to answer.

Posting same question twice on two seperate days, just to see if anyone could help, does that broke any of the forum policies? other than telling me what I already know. And besides your comment lack politeness as a volunteer in my opinion.

I can go extral mile to do anything for anyone for free without expecting anything in return or sound like the way you did.
