name wrong on spouse visa issued to husband

Hi All,

My husband has been issued a spouse visa but they have got his name wrong.He has been to the VAC teleperformance to say that there is a mistake on his visa,all they have said is we are just a agent and cannot deal with this. I'm really worried that this will cause him alot of problems when he comes to the UK. The Ukvi in pretoria,South Africa issued his visa if this helps.

Can anyone advise us on what else can be done to solve this problem?

Visa should be corrected by UKVI before travel to the UK.

I had the same problem with my daughters visa issued in Pretoria with my mothers name as sponsor instead of mine. Once we alerted the British High Commission, it was two trips there to drop and then again pick up the passport once corrected. It took about 2/3 days as my daughter was due to travel within days.
