Naturalisation - Advice Needed

Post by parabola5551 » Wed Dec 17, 2014 1:59 pm

Hi there,

I've been living in the UK for the past 8-9 years and in order for me to apply for naturalisation (and ultimately a British Passport), I need to take the Life in the UK and IELTS tests.

However, I already have a GCSE in both English and Citizenship. Does this mean that I do not need to take the tests? Surely my English qualification would satisfy the criteria for naturalisation?

Thanks
