Naturalisation after ILR via 10 years route?

Post by missyk » Mon Apr 13, 2020 11:27 am

I received my ILR in August 2019 and I'm looking at applying for naturalisation in a couple of months when I have held my BRP for at least 12 months.

What kind of documents have people used to prove that they have lived legally in the UK in the last 5 years? And is it for the whole of 5 years, or just on the date of 5 years before date of application? (i.e. 01/09/2020 --> 01/09/2015)

Mine is a combination of Tier4, Tier 2 and Tier 5 so I am confused. Any advice would be appreciated!!

Your visa route to ilr is irrelevant.

For proof of residence for the 5 years immediately preceding date of application, it is your passports only.
