Hi All,
My employer has requested 3543 job code for (NEW entrant visa) rate with salary of 32k, But when we apply for COS they replied saying:
You applied on 25th April 2024 for the roles of SOC 3543 Project Analyst (from:
scoc@homeoffice.gov.uk)
1. As per the CASCOT site, we would expect the above role of Project Analyst in the IT sector to use SOC 2134. This SOC has a higher going rate as per your proposed role and a new entrant under this SOC should be paid at least £34,580 per annum (based on a 37.5 hour working week) which your proposed rate of pay of £32,000 falls short of.
2. The sector you are operating in is further confirmed by your listed SIC on Companies House: 62012 - Business and domestic software development.
My point is Skilled Worker visa due to it not falling within the IT sector. As an alternative, code 2134 was suggested.
However, upon reviewing the UK government website.(
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -and-codes), it appears job code 2134 primarily focuses on programming and software development roles.
The company goal is to recruit an IT Project Analyst, a crucial position for supporting internal IT projects and product development. According to the CASCOT website (
https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/ier/data_ ... nput_data/), job code 3543 ("Project Support Officers") aligns perfectly with the responsibilities required for this role, encompassing project organization, planning, monitoring, and direction.
I look forward to accurate response on whats need to be done.
