Notifying employer on visa change

Post by xiaomi95 » Fri Jul 24, 2020 2:38 pm

Dear all,

I've switched from Tier 2 ICT visa to Tier 1 Exceptional Talent late last year. I still haven't notified my employer on this. I wanted to ask what are the implications of not notifying my employer? Also, I didn't find any guidance on the exact process. Would be grateful if anyone can shed a light on this.

Thanks,
Y

It is your responsibility to update your employer as soon as you change visas and provide evidence of your brp to prove right to work.

This is also important so that your employer can update the SMS that you are no longer sponsored.

Ho do NOT inform your player if your visa changes. It is YOUR responsibility

Thanks for the reply. What is the penalty for not telling my employer?
