According to him he received a letter notifying that he will be deported in 7 days. Is it really possible? He has gone to marry a British citizen because of this. Is the marriage valid or what are the implications fot the British citizen. Funny thing is that the girl's parent dont know and he doesnt even live with the girl. My question is does he get a notice of deportation and can he stay because he married a British subject? Any replies appreciated |

Kwame1980 Junior Member Member # 6865 | Posted February 01, 2003 02:09 PM Thank you very much for your reply. I know it's disgusting hence im no longer friends with this guy. Would any of them go to jail if it was proved that the marriage was a sham? And would this guy be sent packing? Is it true that, he has been given a 7 day notice for deportation? From what i know, they dont. Thanks for any reply |

Elisa Member Member # 2487 | Posted February 01, 2003 04:19 PM If he's been arrested in UK and asked to leave then no way they will recognize the marriage. His police records will show he is a criminal and has been given deportation orders so he is pretty much SOL. Likely he will be officially escorted out of the country. |
