What are the exhaustive list of document required for HSMP.

Also should all the income earned from different sources be supported by income tax returns....

As I dont have income tax returns for the income I have earned from my part time hours.

You need the documents against the criteria for which u r claiming points..
be specifc we will answer..

You mean to say that u don’t pay taxes for the earnings from part time job ?

Isn’t kindda illegal ?
If it is not illegal then u may produce payslips if u r getting in ur part time job.
or Bank statement shld be enough (if this is getting reflected there )

I don't think the HSMP bother whether you paid taxes or not. All they care about is making sure that you have indeed earned the claimed income and have not just printed a pay slip from your PC at home. That is why they want two pieces of evidence to prove income.

Ajay, I am not sure which country are you from. 95% of the people in India dont bother to pay tax... In fact only to show that they are in the list of white people(tax payer) they just show 5-10% of their income as earned and pay the tax for that.

Salaried person are forced to pay tax, because employer deduct the tax from source so the earner dont have any option left but to file the return for 100% of the income.

Anways coming back to the point, I get rental income on my asset which I have to treat it as capital gain and I dont have to pay tax on that unless my income goes beyond the taxable limits. In my case it does not go beyond the limit and hence I dont file the tax returns for my income gain from capital gain.
