Hi Ajay/dip/kayalami/studyUK/JayGee/madankumars

Hats off to all of U for making this forum so exhaustive as far as HSMP- information is concerned. But we R missing one point...
None has shared his experience about the verifiaction done by HSMP/Homeoffice team, so far.
It could be any, for exp/education....

Pls share your experiences on this line.

Trueheartboy,

When I applied, it took just two days for the turnaround... so cant add much value to your question.

Doesnt mean that they were lax. Probably it was a straightforward case with proper documentation.

The very fact they are taking longer now could partially be attributed to the verification process.

Regards
Dip

Do they at least let you know via telephone call or via e-mail?

I check my credit card balance twice a day - again this morning - surprise - indeed not, still nothing.

Jaygee,

It may take 7 to 14 days (or slightly longer) before they debit your card!!!

Relax, and enjoy the sunshine

JayGee,

Typically a charge will not show up on your credit card balance instantly. It may take several days to post. However, it *will* be reflected more or less instantaneously on your credit limit authorization - so you may be able to impute whether or not it has been charged.

Hope this helps allay your anxiety somewhat

I've checked copy of my app - guess what - I finally figured out why my application is in no mans land - on the 2nd page of application where it ask for date of birth - I miscontrued the question to be place of birth - hence not putting in my date of birth.

The way they register/track your app is to ask your dob - mine being absent meant they could'nt register the app. STUPID ME - take 10 points off my score please - I thought I'm highly skilled (maybe in some things - but definetly not in filling out forms- da!)

Jaygee,

Nice to see that you have seen the funny side of not having a 'Date of Birth'

I hope you rectified it!!!. Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.....No sunshine in this part of the world

Jaygee

So, U caught me

...
Hey, nothing like that. I was just wondering
that how people are getting approvals in 10-20 days. Nobody mentioned abt any call from HSMP team.
But that's for sure they are very efficient.as compared to canada immi.
