Dip Member Member # 4428 | Posted February 06, 2004 04:37 PM Trueheartboy, When I applied, it took just two days for the turnaround... so cant add much value to your question. Doesnt mean that they were lax. Probably it was a straightforward case with proper documentation. The very fact they are taking longer now could partially be attributed to the verification process. Regards |
ajayxyz Member Member # 7225 | Posted February 06, 2004 04:45 PM For me also it was a straightforward case. I had 90 points and working in MNC and backedup by docs that's all.... gotta HSMP in 4 days .... |

JayGee Member Member # 7446 | Posted February 09, 2004 09:01 AM Do they at least let you know via telephone call or via e-mail? I check my credit card balance twice a day - again this morning - surprise - indeed not, still nothing. |
Chess Member Member # 7233 | Posted February 09, 2004 09:57 AM Jaygee, It may take 7 to 14 days (or slightly longer) before they debit your card!!! Relax, and enjoy the sunshine -------------------- .........Nkosi sikelele Africa |
Cane Junior Member Member # 7458 | Posted February 09, 2004 11:04 AM JayGee, Typically a charge will not show up on your credit card balance instantly. It may take several days to post. However, it *will* be reflected more or less instantaneously on your credit limit authorization - so you may be able to impute whether or not it has been charged. Hope this helps allay your anxiety somewhat -Cane |
JayGee Member Member # 7446 | Posted February 09, 2004 12:01 PM I've checked copy of my app - guess what - I finally figured out why my application is in no mans land - on the 2nd page of application where it ask for date of birth - I miscontrued the question to be place of birth - hence not putting in my date of birth. The way they register/track your app is to ask your dob - mine being absent meant they could'nt register the app. STUPID ME - take 10 points off my score please - I thought I'm highly skilled (maybe in some things - but definetly not in filling out forms- da!) |
JayGee Member Member # 7446 | Posted February 09, 2004 12:04 PM Chess - today - sunshine her is at 30+ degrees celcius , yesterday got sun-burned being at beach watching all the beach babe's - now I sit in nice aircon office - I certainly do enjoy the sunshine from inside my office.
