NationOne Junior Member Member # 7301 | Posted February 17, 2004 05:33 AM I have a very young baby (4 weeks). So ideally I would like to fly to the UK alone and then after six months bring my wife and baby. Is this allowed under the HSMP visa? Do I have to request for this at my Entry Clearance? |
hsmphopeful Member Member # 7477 | Posted February 17, 2004 08:15 AM Yes; yes. I will be doing the same. |
NationOne Junior Member Member # 7301 | Posted February 17, 2004 08:38 AM Thanks. How long can they stay back before landing in the UK? |
hsmphopeful Member Member # 7477 | Posted February 17, 2004 08:43 AM their visas will expire on the same day as yours, regardless of when they enter the UK. the best way for you, as well as me, is to go to UK, find work, rent accomodation and then fly them in. this way you will save both money and stress. |

JayGee Member Member # 7446 | Posted February 19, 2004 03:47 PM I will follow same path- first go to UK, get decent paid job then bring family over. Only problem is must get Doncaster to find my application. |

JayGee Member Member # 7446 | Posted February 19, 2004 04:51 PM Mr TJ Man, oh man, I wish I should have used an agency to submit my application - I wonder why I didn't follow through... Sadly, I am horror-strucked to know this can happen in this day of age.
