marka Member Member # 1907	Posted March 01, 2004 11:15 AM Hi all, I got ILR last thursday at Croydon. Arrived 11.30 was in the building by 12.00. Was seen by reception right away and then paid at the casher. Afterwards waited for 5 hours to be seen by a caseworker. Was finally seen at 5pm and the ILR was issued within 15 minutes. My case was very simple enough, two consecutive work permits and I had passports for the entire 4 years. All they asked to see was new passport, old passport and employer letter. Marka

I got my ILR in October last year and my letter only mentioned "(NAME) is a full time employee working as a (designation) with (Employers dept and name) based at (full address of employer where I am based). In case you have any questions do not hesitate to contact the undersigned." The letter was signed by my boss. Alternatively you can ask your HR to issue a employment confirmation letter. Regards Dip

Imigration and Nationality directorate <full postal addr> re: Mr Marka Nationality DOB xx/xx/xx applicaion for ILR This is to confirm mr marka has been employed in a full-time permanent capacity at comapany XXX since xx/xx/xx and the employment is continuing. Should you have any questions do not hesitate to contact xxxx. hope that helps. marka
