Hi,

While filling up my HSMP application form, I was slightly confused with questions contained within section two. Since I am ALREADY working in the UK on a work permit I would like some clarity on how I should fill this section. The questions are:

7. What type of work or self employment do you intend to do in the United Kingdom?

11. What arrangements have you made to seek work upon your arrival in UK?

12. Do you have an offer of work?

13. What do you expect to earn in the first twelve months in the UK? Evidence of same.

Your help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You can actually have an easy time answering the questions. Here are some suggestions.

7. Say you're already working but you want to do ________________[self employment, consulting, or new job].

11. Say you're already working, but currently looking for _______________.

12. Say you currently have no offers, but that you are already working.

13. Currently earning ____. Expect to make ___ with new job. [I suggest you make it roughly the same so their expectations are managed.]

Malik,

Wassalam Aleikum?

with regards to arragemts to find work - write that
1).Registered with a number of Agencies
2). sent off your CV to a number of firms
3).You have arranged interviews -if thats the case
4). You have researched various internet sites etc.

What do you expect to earn:

1). Check websites
2). Read adverts in the 'professional' magazines etc to find out the Salary of the people with your experience

Good Luck - and 'Isha Allah' everything will go smoothly

Malik, Aslam-o-Alaikum

Algamdulilah....your understanding is correct, there is no prescribed qty to look at - it only gives the case handler some insight if you are serious (cause then you would have done some homework see!) of coming to the UK or you just wanna holiday here for long!!

Salaam to you and Chess!!
