I need help for HSMP application for my cousin at India.

I think - he will fall under following points:

* Age: 5 Points (27 years)
* Qualification: 25 Points (Post Graduation in Personal Management and Industrial relations)
* Current Salary: 35 Points (9000 INR)
* Graduate Level Experience: 35 Points (5 Years)

Total: 100 points

He is working as Senior Clark (In Personal dept. for Indian Railways (Government Job).

What are the chances of the getting the HSMP? Should he has to show the Job Offer. if yes, How can he find the Jobs for him? Any websites or recruitment agencies for his role?

1. If he can substantiate the points he is claiming then he will get HSMP approval. He only needs to score 65 points but is well advised to try and maximise his score to allow for any discrepancy with the HSMP Team. Most people fail on the work experience section because they fail to provide definitive proof that it is graduate level or of its significance if going for the extra points.

2. A job offer prioritises his application with the HSMP Team which is key as processing times have increased to 6 - 8 weeks but is not on its own enough to get him approved. Failing to sho a job offer is not a negative because the HSMP scheme allows self employment and the presumption is that your 'high skills' should land you a decent job in the UK.
