british_citizen Junior Member Member # 7183 | Posted March 02, 2004 03:17 PM hi kalamani and others, I need help for HSMP application for my cousin at India. I think - he will fall under following points: * Age: 5 Points (27 years) He is working as Senior Clark (In Personal dept. for Indian Railways (Government Job). What are the chances of the getting the HSMP? Should he has to show the Job Offer. if yes, How can he find the Jobs for him? Any websites or recruitment agencies for his role? thanks |
Bug-Master Member Member # 7448 | Posted March 02, 2004 04:12 PM BC, as per HSMP team statement everyone who can collect and provide evidence for at least 65 points will get the YES> Job Offer is not a requirement. Thanks -------------------- To light a candle is to cast a shadow... |

2. A job offer prioritises his application with the HSMP Team which is key as processing times have increased to 6 - 8 weeks but is not on its own enough to get him approved. Failing to sho a job offer is not a negative because the HSMP scheme allows self employment and the presumption is that your 'high skills' should land you a decent job in the UK. 3. There are various ways of job hunting including the internet with the usual websites featuring i.e. www.monster.co.uk, www.hotjobs.co.uk etc. You may wish to review this post for ideas on the subject as well as others with the subject title HSMP/ Jobs. british_citizen Junior Member Member # 7183 | Posted March 02, 2004 08:25 PM madankumars - sorry. I got it wrong - salary - no points, but - he still get's 65 exactly... |
Joseph01 Member Member # 7141 | Posted March 02, 2004 11:38 PM british_citizen Keep in mind that if the salary is really low (even by Indian standards) and far below (only about 25% of) the £5000 below-28 threshold, it may be hard for him to prove that the job is graduate level. Joseph |
