I have dual citizenship, Canadian and Polish.
I arrived in London 3 years ago on a two year working holiday visa on my Canadian passport.
When this expired I received a one year student visa, and shall complete my program in March.

I have been told that I am eligible for a work permit on my Polish passport according to the EEA agreement with Poland, enabling me to start a business in the UK.

I would like to do this but am a bit apprehensive because I do not know the proper guidelines that need to be followed when using two passports, and I do not want to do anything that may haunt me in the future.

Do you know the procedure for doing this and the legalities to consider?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Yes, you are potentially eligible to apply for a UK visa under the EAA association agreement. Also, you may lodge your visa application 'in-country', i.e. without leaving the UK.

Please have a look at the following section of our website for more information on this, as well as to submit an online query to us:
