skp Junior Member Member # 1002 | Posted February 08, 2002 04:04 AM I am leaving to Ireland on Work Visa for 2 years. I am married and want to take my wife with me. But according to rules, my understanding is that, I cannot take my wife on Dependent Visa until I complete my three months work experience in Ireland. Based on the discussions I had with my friend, he said even dependent visa will also be given for 3 months only. So I am wondering whether I can take my wife to Ireland on Tourist Visa and convert as dependent visa in Ireland. My understanding is that, we can obtain the tourist visa very fast. Please advice me, which would be the best way? whether to take her on tourist visa and then convert as dependent visa or wait for three months and obtain the dependent Visa Thanks a lot -------------------- skp |
