Hello,

I'm a Swiss national willing to move to Madrid to possibly work or stay. I was wondering if I'll be required a work permit or a visa to remain over there?. Last time I went there the inmigratiion officer didn't even opened my passport. If yes what's the paperwork involved and how long it takes?. Thanks so much for your help I really appreciate.

Hi,

Keep in mind that travelling to Spain as a tourist is greatly different from attempting to work there. You would definitely require both a work permit and visa to do so, and processing times for Spanish work permit appliction vary from 4 to 8 months.

If you need further help, e-mail us at spain@workpermit.com.
