hello,
i was born in england but now live in jersey, channel islands. i am going to france in october to teach english for 6 months and have just recived a letter saying i must obtain my own work permit/visa. i didnt know i needed one if i am only going to be working temporarily so i was wondering if anyone knows about this?

Hi

If you hold a British passport then you should not need a work permit in order to work in France, which is also a Member State of the EU. This must have been a mistake on the part of the French authorities or the school - do they realise that you hold a British passport?
