krasi Junior Member Member # 4165 | Posted July 01, 2002 11:59 PM Hello, there! I am from Bulgaria and looking for a job in Ireland. I won"t notice the "work permit" adventure ). My short question is: I am a mechanical engineer with about 3 years experience in HVAC&R /heatin, ventilation, air conditioning .../ field. Can I apply for a "working visa" in the "construction sector" or HVAC&R field do not take a place in this "sector"? Many thanks! |
Ralf Junior Member Member # 4086 | Posted July 02, 2002 05:18 PM Is Bulgaria in the EU? Sorry, can't remember. -------------------- Is the US Government doing unfair? Please visit http://www.hopsim.de |
krasi Junior Member Member # 4165 | Posted July 03, 2002 03:42 PM No Ralph, Bulgaria is not in EEA, but there are some exceptions from the "work permit" scheme in Ireland and one of this is sector "construction specialists". That is what I am talking about - is the HVAC&R include in this category??! P.S. Where are you from? Regards! |

krasi Junior Member Member # 4165 | Posted July 04, 2002 04:08 PM Hi, Ralph! I think in Germany have a lot of BG students I know nothing about the "work permission procedure" anyway. Which sector do you work for: computer or else? I am an enviromental engineer, but I"ve been working in air conditioning field now. Is there any chance to find a job in this field in Germany as a technician or not? What do you think? |
Ralf Junior Member Member # 4086 | Posted July 05, 2002 11:51 AM krasi, as an engineer you can find a job, but not as a environmental or for air conditioning it will be hard to find one.
