Hi there,

I just had an interview and the company want to hire me. I'm Indonesian, now I'm working in IT industry in Singapore. The question, Is it possible to apply working permit without go to Netherlands? So I still can work, until they approved my WP and when I go there, I can start working.
If it's not possible, how long is the process from the day I start apply for MVV until the day I receive the WP?

Thank you for your attention.

Hi Sxin

Unfortunately, as an Indonesian national, it would not be possible for you to work in the Netherlands without a work permit and an MVV. The work permit must be applied for by your employer simultaneously with your MVV application. ALthough work permits for IT Professionals only take about 4-5 weeks to process, the MVV can take several months to come through.

Hope this helps!
