stephens Junior Member Member # 789 | Posted December 09, 2001 02:04 PM I would like to emigrate to Australia and invest in an off licence selling beer and wine. What are the chances of being excepted investing in a business venture such as this? |
Elfa Member Member # 5 | Posted December 11, 2001 05:35 PM HI It is possible that this venture would be acceptable (and perhaps profitable) if you can show that you have done significant market research and there is a proven shortage of such a business in Australia. You would need to invest at least AUD$250,000 in a new or existing business and meet other requirements to be eligible for a Long-Stay Temporary Business Visa under the Independent Executive category. If you are interested in pursuing this, please contact me directly on ozvisa@workpermit.com for more information. Best regards Elfa -------------------- Elfa Kere, Consultant |
