I would like to emigrate to Australia and invest in an off licence selling beer and wine. What are the chances of being excepted investing in a business venture such as this?

HI

It is possible that this venture would be acceptable (and perhaps profitable) if you can show that you have done significant market research and there is a proven shortage of such a business in Australia. You would need to invest at least AUD$250,000 in a new or existing business and meet other requirements to be eligible for a Long-Stay Temporary Business Visa under the Independent Executive category.

If you are interested in pursuing this, please contact me directly on ozvisa@workpermit.com for more information.

Best regards
