DR Junior Member Member # 1695 | Posted January 23, 2002 07:33 PM I have a few questions about a summer internship position. I am a graduate business student and would like to know about which work permit I would need to work in Australia for the summer(in the northern hemisphere so winter there) in a business position for about 12 weeks and how long the turnaround time is on an application |

Depending on your nationality, age and other factors, you might be able to get a Working Holiday Visa which would allow you to work for up to three months at a time for one employer, without the need to have your employer nominate/sponsor you. Once your employer does his part of the application, a Long-Stay Temp Business Visa can be processed within four to six weeks, usually. Hope this helps!
