Elfa Member Member # 5 | Posted February 08, 2002 03:00 PM HI I wouldn't think that a PR visa for ICT Specialists from the US would be granted in less than 6 months at this point, anyway. We may be able to get it done in 4 months, if your case if straightforward and there are no foreseeable complications....Mr. Parwal, I will be responding to your personal e-mail query shortly, by the way. Witt Member Member # 567 | Posted February 08, 2002 06:35 PM quote: It seems tha now ICT applications submitted to Adelaide are processed really quickly - people are saying that they received requests for medical and police checks in a month after they sent the application form in. And the total time is now supposed to be 3-4 months, with the only problem for Indians (I've read at least 4 messages complaining about it) that immigration authorities now want their degrees being confirmed by the awarding university directly to DIMA. I wonder if there are really so many fakes out there? |
Elfa Member Member # 5 | Posted February 14, 2002 04:38 PM Hi Witt Yes, we have had some problems with our Indian clients' qualifications. And I have recently had confirmation from DIMA Adelaide that visa processing times are closer to 6 months for IT Pros rather than 3-4 months. The apps we submitted already from November to present (at least for UK citizens) should still be processed within the original 3-4 month processing time period quoted. Just fyi, Elfa -------------------- Elfa Kere, Consultant |
