i am working as a software engineer in india and i have done my MCA .
i have scored 23 points including assets.
i couldnt able to get 25 points which are required for immigration.so how can i get work visa.
is here any way to get work visa?.
i have heard that if i dont have any offer letter from any employer from newzealand the new zealand government will give us work visa to go and join in a job and then apply for immigration so that i will get 5 points and my over all total will be 28 including the offer letter.
IS IT TRUE?.
please give reply.
thanking you,
with regards,

This is true. I m also goig thru the same problem but can some one tell us that Work Visa will automatically be granted upon not qualifying for immigration (Less points)or separate application will have to be made as and when immigration request is declined ???

Hi

You both need to make an immigration application to the appropriate Embassy and request a work visa since you only score 23 points - they will assess all of your qualifications and work experience and once they determine that you are within 5 points of 25 points, you will be granted a work visa to travel to NZ to find a job. If you are unable to find a job within 6 months, your immigration application will be declined.

Hope this clarifies matters.
