| ram Member Member # 161 | Posted February 20, 2002 01:31 AM i think you can't leave aussie permanently immediatly after your pr,must stay there for atleast 2 yrs and they also have something for renewal of re-entry to aussie as pr and i believe there should be some firm rules and regulations to that renewal! i think all green cards are the same,cannot stay out of the country for very long! a visit to aussi immi web site will be of more use to you! |

| Elfa Member Member # 5 | Posted February 26, 2002 03:50 PM HI Nas Actually, you are right in that once you are granted a PR visa you need to enter Australia initially between 6-9 months from the date the visa is granted, and then you can travel back and forth for up to five years before you are required to "settle".
