Passport mandatory for Biometrics appointment

Post by sansri » Mon May 12, 2025 10:39 am

Hello all

I've my Biometrics appointment end of this week but my passport is struck with Netherlands Embassy (for Schengen Visa). I was wondering if passport is mandatory for Biometrics appointment to prove my identity or can I use UK Driving License. Appreciate any guidance, please. Thanks, Srhruti.

You need your passport as far as I am aware.

Do you still have your expired BRP? Are you able to move your appointment? Can you call the centre where you have the appointment to double check?
