Hi guys, hope you all are well.
Just to give background. I'm from Pakistan and I'm married with no kids. I've gotten employment in the UK with a CoS that does NOT certify maintenance. Accordingly I ensured that I had over 2000GBP in my account for over three months prior to visa application (enough for maintenance of both myself and my spouse), and I've made sure it never fell below a certain amount. So I've currently applied for my own visa and submitted biometrics in early October. My spouse has an examination in the UK in March by which point I was hoping to have her here on a dependent visa. My plan is when I arrive in the UK, I'm quickly able to find accommodation suitable to house my spouse and then apply for the dependent visa as soon as possible in time for her to arrive before her exam.
My question relates to my spouse. She has an examination in the UK in March by which point I was hoping to have her here on a dependent visa. Lately I've heard from a few places that I need UK payslips and/or utility bills to show I'm able to support her and that I have accommodation. But I can't find any official source where a payslip is considered necessary for a dependent visa, it just mentions the maintenance requirement of 945GBP for myself and 630GBP for her for 90 days before application. But if I need three months of UK payslips or utility bills, it means I won't be able to begin applying for her visa until about February, which is a bit too late if her exam is in March.
If someone can tell me whether or not payslips are indeed a requirement, despite having enough funds in my account to sponsor, that would be very helpful, and then perhaps we can have her exam rescheduled to a later date.
Thanks!
