PBS dependant - english exam

Hi my friend is on Tier2 work permit visa , he need to apply
For visa for his wife she has done only 10+2 inter
If she wants to come to UK on dependant visa does she
needs to take any english test IELTS or some other engliah exam..
Appreciate any help pl

A1 level English required from a Home Office approved test provider.
(Casa, not CR001)

PBS Dependents are not required to meet/prove any English requirement. It will be required when they qualify and apply for ILR and it is level B1 as the ILR rules are currently.
