PBS Dependant extension with main applicant on ILR

Post by MrsJ » Thu Jul 25, 2019 2:14 pm

Hi,
I am planning to extend my pbs dependent visa which expires in September this year. My husband who is on ilr now, got it through tier2 , 5 years route. After he got his ilr, i continued in the same visa as pbs dependent.
I am in the process of filling up the form,
Just for my peace of mind, wanted to check these things with you.

1) I filled up this form...is that ok?
https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... nt-partner

2) immigration status of husband ...in this section i still put tier2 general which was his status before he got ilr...even though he is on ilr..is that correct ?

3) length of cos of husband....even if he has ilr, i put 3 year or less ?

4) the job asked if my husband job was in shortage occupation list....which it is...looks like the fees are slightly lower for that ..its coming to £483. ?

5) also, just to confirm , i will be able to get the extension of 3 years , and once i reach 5 years in pbs dependent visa ..i will be able to apply for ilr ?

Would be great , if you could confirm this :)
Thanks a lot !!

2. Yes, his tier 2 visa.

3. Whatever the last CoS was yes.

4. If it definitely was shortage then yes.

5. Yes, you get a 3 year extension and can apply for ILR when you meet the 5 year requirement.
