PBS Dependant visa for 1 year

Dear Team,

I have recently received my British citizenship after being on the Tier 2 (Skilled Worker) visa route. My wife, currently on a dependent visa, will be eligible to apply for ILR in one year. Is it possible for her to apply for a 1-year visa instead of the standard 3-year visa? This is due to her upcoming ILR application and to avoid overpaying the Immigration Health Surcharge for the additional two years.

No, it is a 3 year extension as dictated by the immigration rules.

The webform also requires a Certificate of Sponsorship, but it does not accept the end date since it is no longer valid after I obtained my British citizenship. Should I indicate that I do not have a CoS or set the end date to 3 years in the future?
