PBS Dependent Extension within the UK

I’m on ILR as of 24 April 2019 based on Tier 2 General route.

In 2017 when I was on T2 general I got married and my wife joined me in Dec 2017 as a dependent (application from India). This will expire on 12 Sep 2019. I have applied for PBS dependent extension visa for her within the UK on 21/06/2019. During application process i mentioned that I’m on ILR and my visa is valid until 31/12/2024. On the IHS I paid £2400 approximately. Based on the amount I understood I paid for £2200/£400 (per year) = 5 1/2 years starting from 21/06/2019 to 31/12/2024.

Question 1: Because payment for IHS is taken for 5 1/2 years, my wife get extension until 2024?

No, she will get a visa extension for 3 years as stated in the immigration rules.

Any over payment of IHS should be refunded.

As this question has been answered so many times, it would have been worth asking before applying. You needed to put your ilr expiry date as 3 years from date of application to get the correct £1200 amount payable.

Aah, I will get the refund. This is still ok.
