I did submit my application on 2nd of March via NCS - Manchester,
we received acknowledgement letter and fee was deducted pretty much quick..
but still waiting for the results... it's nearly 2 months now

MY husband has the nearly same time line like yours and we have been waiting too

HI All,

I have got my ILR Settlement in feb 2015 (Tier 1 general) then after i have applied for kids naturalization on 13th march 2015.

Fee deducted 20th march 2015, confirmation letter received 25th March.

Still waiting for approval letters as kids don't have ILR becasue they both born in here. Any body waiting same as like me please?

couple of my friends applied end of feb and 1st week of march but they all got it with in three weeks. Now they got biitish passport also.

Just had a sneaky look at how the April applicants doing and did not find any post with approval...
Looks like the first 3 months of this year were the quickest....

just 1 applicant from April got approval so far. I saw that person timeline in general naturalisation timelines thread. If we talk generally so overall the wave of getting approval letters is slow since last 2 weeks .

I anticipated it would slow down due to changes taken place in April and many more people trying to submit their applications before Apr 6th. So not really surprised!

No one from April has got an approval, that person you saw is suspected to be a bogus poster as his/her timeline didnt make sense.

Most of the general public who apply for naturalisation actually have no idea when the fee change is, they just download the form and pay what is necessary. Its because we spend alot of our time on here that we are somewhat gurus in immigration law. I suspect the increase in applications around this time is more to do with more ilr's hisotrically given around this time

Very depressing!
The number of applicants who got their approvals in the last couple of weeks is few and far between. The UKVI guys are making 6 Million to 8 Million pounds a month. We've paid through nose(£906) whereas the overall cost to the UKVI is £142 only. I know it's a very stressful job, given the fact there are 106 caseworkers only being tasked to clear the yesteryear's backlog as well. But still I think they're moving at a snail's pace.
Patience is a great virtue and everyone is gonna have his/her approval soon, inshaa Allah.

Finally some good news.....got my english language test
Certificate this morning. Posted it off with a copy of my
Letter and passport. Also included a self address envelope. Sent off by Royal mail special delivery. So they
Will get it tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if someone can throw some light on this...
I applied BC for my two sons who were on ILR since I was on ILR and so was my wife. Applied on 17th March through NCS and submitted 2 MN1 forms and paid fees £669x2 which was collected by HO on 23rd March as a whole as £1338 for both.

Now one of the approvals had arrived on 9th April for one of my sons and I'm still waiting for the other one.

How normal is this because we applied at the same time and paid fee which got deducted at the same time.

Ages: 6 & 1
Nothing to check or confirm I suppose u less otherwise.

Just wondering if it is worth chasing up or is it too early coz I'm thinking it might have got lost in the post as when they sent 1st approval certificate, it came via 2nd Class post and not signed for or anything.

Tulip your right. With the new rules and fee and bank holiday, everything is slow and not forgetting the very large amount of application before the new fee and rules came into effect. I am thinking about you and I do check in to see what is going on with our March application. I hope you and all my March applicant get your approval soon. Stay positive and it will happen.xx
