Call them at 0300 123 2253 and ask for an update, any case greater than 6 months are beyond their SLAs and you can expect to get a response.

Accountant is fine even if he does not have ILR , When I applied for my british citizenship my accountant friend who did not have ILR ON that time , he was my referee , and now my wife applied for citizenship and the same accountant has done my wife application and he has ILR THIS TIME, so for professional referee Accountant is fine does not matter if he has ILR OR NOT, BUT OTHER PERSON MUST BE BRITISH CITIZEN TO GIVE YOU REFERENCE. In your case Khan you are fine. Thanks

Hi,

I've got a quick question how much did it cost to book the private ceremony and how quick can you book one?

Every council got different price for private ceremony. It depends on ur council how quick they gve a date for a private ceremony. U might get a date next day or u might have to wait couple of weeks. So i would advice u to call ur council to get a clear answer.

If you haven't specified where you would want your ceremony in AN form (1.16) then the Home Office will use the post code the applicant gives on the citizenship application to decide which is their nearest local authority. You need to check on their website the cost of Private ceremony, as an example in Islington Town Hall it is £150 during the weekdays and £180 on Saturday.

Also this is timelines section only, please refer your question to the correct discussion board in the future.
