Applied on MAY 28
Approval letter dated 4 SEP arrived yesterday!
Will book ceremony on Monday.

I wish you good luck to all of those who are still waiting. I am sure you will receive your approval soon! Don't give up the hope. But do not think about it too much. Otherwise you distress yourself.

i have been quitely following this timeline for long time

Never posted my timeline (sorry i have been lazy

) but now that i have received approval i thought i should post it so others who are waiting won't be in distress (like i did).
so here is my timeline below.

Eligibility criteria: student + post study work + tier1 + ILR
Language criteria met : UK degree
Current nationality: Indian
Number of Applicants: 1
Method of application: NCS (hamilton)
Council name if NCS used: Hamilton(South Lanarkshire Council)
Date of application: 22 May 2015
Payment method: Debit Card
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 08 June 2015
Date of receipt by UKBA: 29 May 2015
Date of acknowledgement: 10 June 2015
Date of biometrics: 13 July 2015 (after my first letter apparently i never got)
Date approval received: Received 12 Sept 2015 (dated 04 Sept 2015)
Date of ceremony: Waiting

Good luck for those waiting. I see there are many letters dated 4 Sept and applied 3rd week of May.

I applied on the 28th of may but until now has not received invitation for biometrics. Has anybody had the same experience and did not need to do another biometrics aside from the one done for ilr

you better call then and ask what going on, becaue if they sent you biometrics letter and it got lost in the post then they won't know it until you tell them, and will think you ignored the letter.

Your application will be refused

Here is my time line.. I have been observing for a while and received my confirmation on Saturday. I had 707 days absences in the past 5 years.

Eligibility criteria: student + post study work + 10 years ILR
Language criteria met : UK degree
Current nationality: Indian
Number of Applicants: 1
Method of application: NCS (Hackney)
Date of application: 11 May 2015
Payment method: Debit Card
Date of debit or clearance of fees: 08 June 2015
Date of receipt by UKBA: 29 May 2015
Date of acknowledgement: 10 June 2015
Date of biometrics: I think this was 14 or 15 June
Date approval received: Received 12 Sept 2015 (dated 04 Sept 2015)
Date of ceremony: 1 Oct

Hmm that is a long time. My invitation for biometrics was lots in post as well and I only knew this once they sent me another one in which they mentioned that I failed to register biometrics as per letter dated xxx.

As mentioned by other user, do get in touch with them. (various ways has been mentioned by people on this thread).

Phone call made to book citizenship ceremony, as instructed in my approval letter. Lady told me they will send us a letter of invitation with available dates on and we have to wait for that before booking.

Also, Got 4 approval letters same time for whole family, all address to Mr... so we will all be able to attend ceremony at same time thankfully.

Also, on my approval letter they have put my name incorrectly - used my maiden name as surname, however letter states "If the details on your certificate are incorrect you should still arrange a ceremony, and return the certificate to us for amendment afterwards" Which is frustrating as it would cause a delay before being able to apply for British Passport.

Getting there slowly..... though I am aware that some people have had to wait a lot longer than us

Did anyone notice the approval date is not not dependent upon date of applying but is rather dependent on date of biometric letter issued. As this week is going by applicant who received biometric letter in 3rd week of June are getting approval (same in both cases of May and June applicants)

Not sure of the system they use but it does seem that Tier 1 and British spouses are being dealt with now. Had my biometrics done on 4 June and still no decision.

I don't think so, I submitted my biometrics on 16th June and people around me getting their approval. God only knows what is their system, I just wish the whole waiting is over

What I albo noticed that HO responses/ approvals come in date batches. Have a look at excell spread sheet and it is clear that some days are nearly all approved and others not touched (I know I know on this forum is only small percentage of all applications, but just have a look) just interesting that's all, back to watching the forum and waiting for HO response

Hi ! I've been silently observing the forum and have found it immensely helpful in lifting my spirits up .Applied on 5/05 on the basis of 10+ ILR along with 3 children (all born in UK)
Biometrics was done on 13/07 and a long wait since then...was hoping for a swift approval as husband is already BC (through naturalisation ) but looks like HO works in an unpredictable manner.

Depends on what your approval letter says as it varies from council to council. If it says call your council to book..call your council to book. If it says this is not an invitation letter, please do not call until you receive an invitation letter.....wait till you receive an invitation letter. If you still haven't received an invitation letter after 2 weeks of receiving your approval, you should contact the email address listed on your approval letter as directed.

I was told to wait for an invitation on my approval letter of 9/9, so waiting for that to come through.

The order in which HO is processing May applications is strange.

I applied on 08-05-2015 through NCS Halifax, submitted biometrics on 15-06-15 but haven't heard anything back from HO.

Yet I can see approvals for late May applications.

Really strange.
