British Passport finally arrived this morning. They tried to deliver it yesterday but no one was at home. Journey finally came to an end. Applied Naturalisation on the 3rd March and received passport today.

Update 11 Sept.
Had letter and new form from HMPO today to fill out as had not filled out the parent's section as did not think it was required as not claiming citizenship through them (as form mentions), but through naturaliastion instead.
Called to clarify, and was told that parents and grandparents info (as parent were born outside of UK) was required regardless of claiming citizenship through them or not.

Just a quick question. Urgent reply would be appreciated

I have got my British passport (through tier 1 and ILR route). My wife is on tier 1 dependent.
I have a my son who was born 2 months ago
I need to apply for his British passport ASAP. I have gone through the forums but there are different answers and I am confused.

Can someone in the same situation PLEASE ADVISE which documents I need to send for British passport for my new born baby?

Hi,

you can do it either through check and send from the post office or fill the form online and then print and send it.

check the guidance or you can go to any post office and ask for the application form it will come with guidance.

i think you need child birth certificate and you proof of stay in uk

I got naturalised today after ceremony and is going to apply for passport soon. Im moving out with my friend and the new house is on friends name. Your answers will be of great help.

Hi,

you can do it either through check and send from the post office or fill the form online and then print and send it.

It's more than 8 weeks since I have applied for passport. Every time I call them they say your application is going through routine scrutiny checks.

Is there any body else who is been waiting since so long. Please share

Really good Service , if some one is in urgent need of travel , must use Fast Track service to get Passport in time . I received all my original documents including Registration Certificate and Other passport at the same time. Good luck to every one and thanks to all of you

Present passport and all all cancelled passports used for entry into uk. Naturalisation certificate And two photographs one of which is certified by referee. No biometric or any thing else

passport application clearly states that YOU SEND UNCANCELLED PASSPORT not cancelled ones

I haven't got mine yet (interview in the morning, and the original documents were returned to me earlier in the week) but all I sent in (for an individual application) was my naturalisation certificate, current passport, application form, appendix with grandparents' details (which didn't fit on Section 8 of the form) and two photographs, one of which was attested across the reverse.

Thanks for those replyings . The stamp of My first entry to uk is on my cancelled passport. Don't I still send it ? Also what about BRP ? And Last question is on passport application form do I have to write details of my grandparents too? I need some help guys. Thanks a lot
