Last minute problem...Please help!!!!!

Post by crusador0408 » Sun Dec 16, 2007 11:07 am

Hi,
I am going to file my HSMP application in a day or two.Following are the evidences am providing for past earnings ( dec 06-nov-07)
1 ITR for 4 months
2 Pay slips for 12 months
3 Bank statements for 12 months

When I looked at ITR today, my income chargeable under the head salaries is 50 000 INR more than the gross salaries in the excel sheets for those 4 months.
When a case worker looks at ITR to see the income for the four months tax I have paid, he can also check it on my salary sheet that figures are not matching but huge difference.

Difference was due to the 50 000 INR being paid to me as reimbursements. Thing is I have not considered those for income, so What do I need to mention and Does it looks simple?

Please help.
I have my ILR since march 2013, previously based on HSMP+Tier1 ext. All views are my own, am not a professional on immigration matters.

Just explain it in your cover letter and try to get a letter from your employer that this difference of amount was paid to you as reimbursements. This should solve the issue.

Was that 50K which you got as re-imbursement a part of one of your pay slips and is it deposited in your bank account? If your bank statement and pay-slips match the figure for that particular month, you should be alright.

scary picture man!! fingers crossed now..
What I have done is, I have not claimed for 50 K INR difference. It is just to make aware my caseworker that why that difference existed.
Otherwise also, the difference amount is there in bank statements separately not part of payslips.

God knows all the rules now[:d], I am sending app in couple of hours.

cheers.
