Visa Section closed

Post by John » Wed Dec 29, 2004 6:46 am

Please note that there is now a notice on the website of the British Embassy in Bangkok saying that their Visa Section is now closed until further notice. Clearly all resources now being put into assisting those who have lost passports etc, and dealing with the dead and injured.

The same might well apply in other places as well? Ski Lanka? India? etc etc.. Best to check if you think you have a forthcoming visa appointment or are just about to submit an application in a country affected by the tidal wave.

We are currently in Thailand but in Phitsanulok which is over 200 miles from the nearest sea.
