surrender of indian passport without british passport

Hi Everyone,

Can someone please let me know if it is possible to surrender Indian passport without British passport. I have read the guidelines where it says so.

But anybody successfully tried surrendering the Indian passport without British passport.

Yes this is possible with a written consent from you while you apply for surrender certificate.

The VFS team should be able to guide you.

Hi Nikpar, My appointment is on 9 june. so would know on that day. However the following does confirm the following

"If UK Passport has not yet been obtained, a declaration from the Applicant stating “My UK passport is under process should be submitted."

yes I have gone through the site but just wanted to know if anyone has done in person. Anyways thanks for the reply my appointment is tomorrow will update soon.

yes they did accepted my application you just need to take the declaration letter “My UK passport is under process should be submitted."
