So, my lawyers just said this - I am so confused.

Thank you for your mail.

Your application was submitted on 19 July 2016 via the standard postal route and the Home Office processing time is usually 8 weeks from the date of submission. We expect to receive your documents by 13 September 2016.

You may proceed with submitting your resignation as your application has already been submitted.

Please note that we cannot change the processing route at this stage as your application has already been submitted.

Kind regards,

1. I don't want to resign from current organization before my LTR comes through. Am I right in doing so?
2. Changing to priority after submission as standard postal is possible ((https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _Form.docx)

Am I right?
