Tier 1 Dependant extension 8 month since applied

Hope someone can guide. I applied for my ILR on 05/03/2016. Same time applied for tier 1 dep extension for my wife and child. I got my approval on 19/10/2016 but not for dependant extension. Is it usual as it is almost 8 months since i applied and almost a month since my application approved. There is no communication from homeoffice after biometrics.
