No news yet pal. No point to contact Homeoffice because their answer would be the same advising to wait. I applied myself so no contact with solicitor either.
Any update on yours?
i don't think i have seen anyone getting their ILR after the christmas and new year holidays.

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows what happens if your passport expires while the Home Office is deciding on the outcome of your ILR application. I have only just realised (because I'm an idiot) that my passport will expire before the 6-month timeframe the Home Office gives for making decisions on settlement. It was valid when I sent my application and, indeed, will be valid until April, but I'm just worried they will deny my application because by the time they get around to processing it my passport might be expired.

Does anyone know what happens in these instances?

Very grateful for your help!

Ekin

Hi Ekin,

I am in same situation, I have applied ILR Set(o) end of April2016 and still waiting for the decision.
In November my passport was expired so I have requested
UKBA to send back my (just)passport to renew it
By filling online form ( Return of documents form)
But I have received a letter from UKBA that "they can't
send my passport as the application is under process and
also mentioned that your application is valid as you
have applied before your passport expired"

Thanks
Devi

Hi Devi,
Thank you so much for your help (and the quick reply!). That has really put my mind at ease. That is shocking that your decision is taking so long! I hope you get a positive response from them soon and thank you so much again for sharing that information with me! :D

Hi all,

Just a quick one to check if any of you who have been waiting (or know someone) for over 9-10 months have received their ILR recently?

I applied in March 2016 and it's been nearly 10 months. I have tried calling twice after the initial 6 months service period and got the same reply "application is still being processed".

If any of you could share any similar experiences please.

Thanks,

GA

Hi there

Just wanted to share some news i have heard is, that almost everyone with tax amendment on Tier-1 rout for ILR would be called for interview and its not going to be easy to get the ILR. A few of my friends have already been called for interview in January and some had already attended the interviews. Same questions about immigration history and business related but the most important question they get asked why was the tax not paid on the earnings claimed in the earlier applications and why have you amended it. They are still waiting for the decision to come but they are not very hopeful.

I posted my ILR application on 12/06/2016 on tier (1) General

i had amendments of 2010/11 but it got corrected by HMRC in a month after applying and all outstanding tax was paid.

I haven't heard anything back till now, i read few posts where applicants have received e mails/ letters but unfortunately, i haven't received any correspondence other than acceptance letter which stated that they will require 6 months to process my case.

Those 6 months have passed a week ago. is there any update on how long are they taking and if anyone could share their decision.

thanks in advance.

best regards,
hi ahmed
any update from HO.
any news from anyone
did you contact HO.
many thanks.

Hi Happy85

I have called them earlier this week and explained that its been 7 months and i haven't received any e mails/ letters in regards to my ILR application. They given me a standard response that its still under process and that they will let me know if they require any additional documentations or if there is any update.

for now , like many other members of this group .. i will have to wait and this non ending waiting game is quite frustrating. anyways lets hope for the best .

Hello All.
Its been nearly an year since I applied for my ILR set (o) , tier 1 general. I applied last year in January, In July I received letter from UKVI which stated that my case has some complex issues and they need further time to consider my application and to reach a decision. Since then there is no communication with HO apart from few calls which I made to know the progress about my case but the answer was same that it is under process. 2 days ago i contacted my local MP as I was suggested to, I spoke with one of his team member and had been advised that they will write UKVI letter on my behalf and then they took some of my personal details i-e name address and case ref number. I hope UKVI will respond to MP's letter. I am following this forum since beginning some people did mention that they have been called for an interview if that will happen with me then i am not very confident about my case because I did tax amendments which is definitely does not go in my favor. I showed my self as a director of limited company and claim earnings through dividend vouchers and monthly salary.Lets hope for the best.

Hi Shanu111,

Do you mind if I ask if your Tier1, Extension and ILR are all based on employment or self-employed? Did you get any letters from HO to say your case might be complex and take more than 6 months etc.
