Is online application possible for T1 G dependent extn in UK

Hi,

Is online application possible for Tier 1 general dependent extension within the UK?

https://www.gov.uk/tier-1-general/family-members and https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... nt-partner say that both online and paper form applications are possible.

But the guidance at https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... rs-1-2-4-5 (Introduction section - Page 4 - item 4) says that "A family member of a Tier 2 and Tier 5 PBS migrant applying in the United Kingdom can make their PBS (Dependants) application online or using the equivalent paper application form. Family members of a Tier 1 PBS migrant applying in the United Kingdom must make their PBS (Dependants) application using the paper application form."

I have this same question while applying for my wifes Tier 1 dependent visa.

Can Online form be used for extending the visa in same category??
Please help as I need to submit it today if I need to use this service.
