Tier 1 dependent application

Hi All,
Anyone please can help.

I am British citizen through tier 1 general route,
Now I am applying for tier 1 dependent visa.
Now there is confusion for me when filling the form.
1)Name of the main applicant, should I put my name and nationality British citizen although I am not applying.

2) Q c4:main applicant reference number.

3) Section L: claim any public fund Yes or No

If yes because I am claiming child tax credit on joint name and working tax credit.

Is this a dependent extension application in the UK?

Sorry it's not clear in my first post depedendent is here in Uk and want to extend her visa.

You are NOT the applicant. Your wife is the applicant.

Your wife is the main applicant.

Yes if claiming in joint names and explain in 'additional information'

If you are a British Citizen now through Tier 1 General Route and your wife is here through PBS Dependent Tier 1 visa and if you are extending in country now then you are the Main applicant although you are not applying, if you are referring to Q A2.5 of Tier 1 Dependent application form

You are wrong. A PBS dependent is the Main applicant and applies alone if the partner has already got ILR or BC.

She is applying on her own, she is the main applicant. You are NOT the main application as you are NOT applying. Read the guidance notes.

the person on whom you are dependant if they
are not applying at the same time because
they already have leave to remain under a Tier
of the Points Based System.

Take your decision based on the guidance notes. I had 2 extension done already based on my statement and anyways whoever is the main applicant, eventually case worker will know who is applying and whom you are dependent on and they may disregard if Main applicant is not the Main applicant they intend to have on the field, so even if you mention in the field as per Experts view, still should not be a problem.

You are misunderstanding. User moonkhan DOES NOT hold a Tier 1 G visa. The dependent applies on the Tier 1 General Dependent on their own using the Tier 1 General Dependent form, the person holding the dependent visa is the main applicant.

I am a BC and had successful 2 PBS extension before. Moon_Khan.. ref guidance please
