Medical / GP Card: Impact on PR Certificate or Citizenship

Post by raja.brit » Tue May 16, 2017 8:01 pm

Dear All,

I am a British Citizen exercising EU Treaty Rights and currently employed .

I do intend to apply for PR or Citizenship once I complete 5 years.

Just wanted to check if I get a GP Card as my company doesn't provide me health insurance, will it have impact on PR or Citizenship application?

Obviously I have never claimed any benifits and never will.

I really appreciate your response.

Many thanks!

Best regards,
Raja

Hi there
I just recently got Irish naturalisation and I did have a medical card always ..it does not affect on your application..at all
However as long as you have good character during your residency and paying your taxes you should be fine..
They say being on social like depending on social support completely it does affect citizenship application..
Good luck to your application..
Hope it helps..
Cheers
