Applied 14 November 2015

Acknowledgement 17 November 2015

COA 15 November 2015

Visit from HO to our flat 09 January 2016

Request from HO to fill additional form 20 March 2016

Rejected 25 May 2016 (Also put allegation that our relationship is not genuine)
removal letter with Warning to leave the country in 7days

We found a lawyer and Appeal the decision(With in 4 days)

Court date at 12 December

Gather all the evidence to prove that how much we love each other (HARD)
we had 3 witnesses

Court decision 17 December
We won over allegations against us. but lost at EU technical point of if a student is also a worker and working 25hr/week, which catagories requirement they need to fullfill.

Our lawyer argued one of them./HO said both.
Their is no clear law regarding this so court gave it to HO!!

So we appealed again 15 January 2016

Upper-Tribunal: Law not clear and decision seems adequate. 15 August 2016

We Had two Options
1 Judicial Review to High Court (As lawyers society suggested that we can win
2 Re-apply to HO accompanied with 2 Court decisions.

I would have love to go for JR but it takes too long and its expensive.
so choose one.

(In that time period Court warned HO not to put allegation like such and change the form and make it more clear so some time in 2016 they Had to change the form)

Re-Applied 10 December 2016

Bio-Matrix 10 Janaury 2017

COA 26 January 2017

HO visits again 05 June 2017 (NHS Charged us mistakenly with £500 visitors tarrif)
that was part reason for the visit

15 June 2017 We got the Residence Card

Dont worry people we will see these confusions in law soon enough so that system which is their to make our life easy don't get lock down on us, just because some of us make error of accepting ease instead of effort to change.

If anyone of you is stuck in a situation like this, I found this struggle as a challenge to improve my self in taking responsibility and started reading law. I focused on this and didn't left everything only on lawyers and build most of the case and felt empowered to fight beside my love against this huge swath of unchecked parallel errors which became a norm in our official manifestos.

Take Care

The decision has been posted to you. You should receive this within 10 working days.
ROR BRC received: ??/2017 [ dated ??/2017 ]
Documents received:??/2017

9 working days and still no sign of BRC and documents sumbitted. From reading this forum I can see it never takes this long from decided to receiving docs but I shall wait untill tomorrow. Is there a number or email to contact if it doesn't show up? Any ideas what could cause this delay?

I received my replacement card today after 7 working days. As I need the card to travel urgently, so I sent many letters to remind them, called the helpline and also get my MP to help chase. Learn from me, please don't waste money on sending in pre-paid envelope in, the home office normally delivers card with DX delivery. You can call DX every morning to check if they have your parcel. Good luck everyone!

FINAL Update -- Joint Application EEA Registration Certificate (wife, Swedish) and Residence Card (me, Filipino)

Some details for reference...
- Both arrived in the UK from Singapore in February 2017; I went in on an EEA FP
- Wife's QP based on self-sufficiency (my income job in UK, cash savings, private health insurance)
- Lived together in Singapore since 2013; got married in Sweden in July 2016

Payment Taken: 07/03/2017
Email Confirmation w/ Case IDs: 06/04/2017
Biometrics Letter: 08/04/2017 (dated 05/04/2017)
Biometrics Enrolled: 10/04/2017
Certificate of Application: 15/04/2017 (w/ Work, dated 12/04/2017)
Checked Online Status: 27/07/2017, officially "Decided" on 25/07/2017 (using Case ID)
Residence Card: 28/07/2017 (issue date: 26/07/2017; via normal post, i.e. no courier)
Documents/Registration Certificate: 03/08/2017 (dated 26/07/2017; via Royal Mail Signed For)

All done; 5 months to the day HO received our joint applications.

Few of my observations after browsing these useful forums for months:
- Royal Mail tracking number won't show if application has been "Decided"
- Current time between receipt of CoA and decision on application = 16-18 weeks
- No hard and fast rule on what will come first; RC or documents

Thank you all very much for sharing. This has been such a useful and reassuring forum. Wishing all the current and prospective applicants and those currently appealing decisions the very best of luck.
