Almost every uni is allowing late arrival but they clearly state that missed lectures and assignments and everything is your responsibility so it is better we get visa on time

Guys! I just got my passport, with successful visa.

This was my timeline:

28 August : Biometrics Appointment
29 August : Application received at Sheffield
12 September : Expect delays email
14 September : Called UKVI Enquiry number. Was told it's under processing, and wait till 15 working days are completed.
19 September : Passport arrived email. Received with a valid visa. (16 working days from biometric, 15 days from application being received at Sheffield).

Good luck to everyone else waiting too!

Hey guys,

I have applied for my tier 4 visa from isb, pak. I am a returning student, going for post-graduation. Following is my timeline:

11/09/17: Online application submitted
13/09/17: Appointment (biometrics, interview), Dispatch text
14/09/17: Email- App being prepared for ECO consideration

Haven't heard anything back as yet. Course start date is 20/09/17 (tomorrow) and the last enrolment date is 06/10/17.

I am honestly expecting a second interview, as i feel i have messed up the first one a bit (just because of nerves).

a more accurate time would be by the 26th, as this would complete the 15 working days criteria.you could receive it before though. Just drop an email to both UKVI and your university mentioning the urgency of your application. it might help, although i am not sure about this.

UPDATE

I have received my passport today with vignette visa on it. I am sure that all students will receive their visas until and unless they have any BIG critical issue in their past travel history.

I am relaxed now as it took exactly 38 days to deliver me passport.

Wish you all good luck.
